Radio Televisao de Cabo Verde – RTCV
Public Television in Cape Verde
The collaboration with RTCV began in 1996.
In the framework of its actions, led for the media coverage of elections, CFI accompanied RTCV, in February 2011, to elaborate the content of programmes dedicated to the pre-campaign period and the electoral campaign. In 2008, an advisory mission on the archives allowed RTCV to modernise its archive service.

Building on the success of the first round table for directors of TV channels in Portuguese-speaking Africa, in Sao Tome and Principe in 2009, CFI organised a second seminar on 8 and 9 July 2010, in Maputo (Mozambique), to foster sharing and discussion between these TV channels.
Since 1996, CFI has had five Portuguese-language TV partners in Africa: TVM (Mozambique), TPA (Angola), RTC (Cape Verde), TVS (Sao Tome and Principe) and RTGB (Guinea-Bissau).
In April 2009, 10 French-speaking African television journalists from Burkina Faso, Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo were invited to attend a first training workshop in France, organised in partnership with the French Professional Football League (LFP), with the support of Canal+ Horizons.
