Côté Courts (On The Short Side) Workshop 2012 call for projects
CFI and the association of Project’Heurts launch a call for projects for the Côté Courts workshop 2012, which will take place in June during the 10th Film Meetings in Bejaïa (Algeria).
This workshop is aimed at Algerian authors-film directors anxious to strengthen their script writing techniques through support in the development of a short length film script - fiction or short programme.
CFI has been a partner of the Bejaïa Film Meetings since 2010. By supporting the Côté Courts workshop, CFI´s ambition is to encourage the emergence of new talents from the south of the Mediterranean.
The Côté Courts workshop 2012 will unfold in 3 one-week sessions, in Bejaïa:
- 1st session: from 9th to 15th June 2012 inclusive, during the 10th Film Meetings
- 2nd session: 3rd quarter 2012 (September - date to be confirmed)
- 3rd session: 4th quarter 2012 (November/December - date to be confirmed)
The participants (a maximum number of 12) will be selected by an international jury on the reading of their project.
All the training costs are covered by the organizers, The Film Meetings of Bejaïa and CFI.
