Malawi : Promoting heritage
CFI is committed towards promoting audiovisual heritage in favour of local productions. The agency assists public radio and television in outlining a policy to safeguard and promote their archives. This issue is additionally shared by the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs, and falls within the framework of the archive image plan.

On 7 and 8 October 2010, CFI organised its first seminar for programming managers from English-language television channels in Nairobi.
