Angola : Promoting heritage

CFI is committed towards promoting audiovisual heritage in favour of local productions. The agency assists public radio and television in outlining a policy to safeguard and promote their archives. This issue is additionally shared by the Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs, and falls within the framework of the archive image plan.

2nd seminar for TV partners in Portuguese-speaking Africa

Building on the success of the first round table for directors of TV channels in Portuguese-speaking Africa, in Sao Tome and Principe in 2009, CFI organised a second seminar on 8 and 9 July 2010, in Maputo (Mozambique), to foster sharing and discussion between these TV channels.

Since 1996, CFI has had five Portuguese-language TV partners in Africa: TVM (Mozambique), TPA (Angola), RTC (Cape Verde), TVS (Sao Tome and Principe) and RTGB (Guinea-Bissau).
