Indonesia : Production
CFI has invested over 1 million Euros in African production through the acquisition, pre-purchase and coproduction of programmes produced in Sub-Saharan Africa. This investment has enabled African partners of CFI to offer their public and viewers an expanding volume of programmes which meet their local reality. The contribution of CFI is additionally undertaken through consultancy and production of programming.
As the largest satellite network in Sub-Saharan Africa with a total of 45 countries being served, CFI enables programmes to be distributed and watched by an increasing number of African viewers. In 2010, CFI made over 1,800 hours of programmes available to its African partners. CFI is particularly attentive towards young producers and, in this regard, is associated with several festivals (such as the Fespaco or Ecrans Noirs) in order to locate new and emerging talent.
