African Programmes
Support for the production and circulation of African productions is a CFI priority in Africa. The aim is both to help make African news available to African TV channels and to develop a local, professional web of producers of news footage.

The "L’Afrique au féminin" competition: spotlight on women directors in Africa
CFI and CANAL+ AFRIQUE are launching "L’Afrique au féminin " (Africa through women's eyes) a short documentary competition, with the aim of highlighting the energy of women directors in Africa.
Africa Animated with CFI
The film "Kamikazi et l’arbre aux mille pouvoirs [Kamikazi and the tree with a thousand powers]" was selected to be screened during the closing ceremony of FICAM, the Festival International de Cinéma d’Animation de Meknès [Meknès International Festival of Animated Film] (Morocco).

Haraka! Supporting new talents in short African films
CFI is launching Haraka! a contest for fictional short film projects, with the aim of mobilizing the energies of a new generation of directors who are determined to film at all costs. By providing the means to young directors under 35 years old within sub-Saharan Africa, who have already acquired the basics of the job, to enhance their experience.
